A sticky post is an article that stays at the top of an article group even if you publish new articles. By default, WordPress displays blog posts vertically with the most recent one occupying the topmost position. As you publish more posts, the older posts get pushed down the list. But with WordPress’ sticky post feature, you can make an article stick to the top as long as you want.
Here are the steps:
1. Go to Posts > All Posts in the dashboard of your WordPress site.
2. Hover your mouse over the title of the article that you want to stick at the top of your articles list.
3. Click on Quick Edit.
4. In the Tags box, tick the checkbox for Make this post sticky (the checkbox is at the bottom of the column).
5. Click on the Update button.
